Audio: Catching up with Team Canada at 27th Winter Universiade

Canada West men’s hockey all-stars are in Granada, Spain representing Canada and the CIS at the 27th Winter Universiade.  Granada is seven hours ahead of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, eight ahead of Alberta and nine ahead of British Columbia so catching up with the team can be tricky but I managed to do just that.

The team is getting set to take on Sweden in their second game on Thursday and I caught up with the team as they were going through a few team meetings just after 10am local time in Granada.  If you did the math it was after 3am in Saskatoon.

Audio: Kruise Reddick, Team Canada Captain, Alberta Golden Bears

Audio: Dave Adolph, Team Canada Head Coach, U of S Huskies

Audio: Ryan Holfeld, Team Canada Goaltender, U of S Huskies

Canada takes on Sweden looking to improve to 2-0 at the games. The game starts at 5pm local time in Granada which is 11am ET/8am PT (10am SK).

The stream should be working for this one and can be found at the games website Follow along on Twitter as I will be live-tweeting the game and will post any updates of the stream if need be.
